These have been the most unexpectedly, interesting pets. We watched them grow legs, arms, and then their tails have started to disappear. This is way better than watching 'frog metamorphosis' videos on YouTube!
Here they Are!
The girls love to hold the little frogs...and I do mean LITTLE. They are actually smaller than they were as tadpoles.
The key to not killing off the tadpoles? Don't change the water. Every time we cleaned their little tank they would start to die off. So instead of cleaning it, we would just add some pond water every weekend. And yes, the tank does have an unpleasant odor. Which is why it stays out on the porch!
Here is a bonus photo for the day...completely unrelated to frogs:
My two little ones are obsessed with spray bottles. I make my own house cleaners with vinegar and baking soda, so they are non-toxic, and let the girls 'clean' sometimes. Vera and Geneva decided to take the spray bottles and sponges and work together on cleaning the shower.

Those frogs are so small! Look at Geneva cleaning that glass door. So cute! I need to try that baking soda and vinegar trick Jenny- can you send me the proportions?
getting caught up on your blog tonight! Love the pics, stories and soap! Did your wok taste like soap after? Blessings to you all! Em
