Jesse Tree - skipping days 18-19

Well, we skipped a few days again! But we are all about having grace with stuff like this in our family, so we aren't going to attempt three ornaments in one day or anything. We'll just pick up where we left off! I'll post about Jesse Tree later...for now we will have a nice photo break from that and I'll fill you in on our very busy weekend.
We have been thrilled to have all of the Swem family together this week. Alex's siblings and parents haven't all been together in years, so this week is extra special. We kicked off the week on Saturday with a birthday celebration for Alex's dad. And what better way to celebrate than with the TarHeels! We all (yes, 17 of us including all the grandkids...even 5 week old Brendan) made it to the UNC vs. Texas game on Saturday afternoon...too bad UNC couldn't pull off a win, though. But we all had a great time together and it was an exciting game to watch.

Sunday the newest grandchildren, Geneva and Brendan were dedicated at church together.

We all arrived at church EXTRA early...

Here are our two families together with Pastor Don.

Geneva was none too happy to be away from Mommy.
Brendan was a little more compliant.
And we snapped a great photo of the three girls after the service!
