Three years ago today, on May 18th 2007 at 1am we received a phone call from our adoption agency and an email with this photo from Ethiopia. What an amazing three years it has been! We are so blessed to call Vera our daughter and thankful for the Lord's hand in our lives that brought us together.
She was almost 3 months old in this photo. We printed it out and carried it with us everywhere for the next two weeks until we flew to Ethiopia to meet her. What a precious photo!
