Today is Vetaran's Day in the US. Our family just got back from a ceremony at my mom's school honoring men and women who have served in our country's military. My grandfather, Alex's grandfather, father, and brother-in-law have all served or are serving in an effort to make our world a safer and freer place. And we are thankful for them!
A friend sent me a report on human trafficking and what the US and the world are doing about it. I highly recommend just taking a peek at it, even if just to skim some of the first few pages for an introduction to the issue. Wow. I'm so glad that there are people in the world stepping out and making a difference in the lives of those who don't yet have a voice in our world.

I Loved the introduction that Condoleeza Rice gives at the beginning of the report:
