Saturday :)

Now that we are fully into this M-F school/teaching/etc. routine, the weekend has taken on a whole new meaning. I used to try to get my shopping and outings done during the week and then stay at home on the weekends since everywhere is so crowded on the weekends here. Today, after a long week of school and work, I felt the urge to get out a bit...so the girls and I headed to the mall! Alex had to write a paper for a distance class he is taking, so was out working but met us for ice cream after lunch there. Here's a cute photo of the three girls on our way out of our building:

Geneva has recently decided that she prefers to walk (as opposed to being strapped into the stroller). She usually makes it out of the building and down the stroller ramp...then Mommy gets tired and decides to plop her in the stroller. Poor girl could probably walk all the way to the subway stop from our place (she's quite determined) but I get so stressed out with the girls walking with all the bikes, cars, and mopeds that she ends up being strapped in pretty quickly.

My other weekend photo is another sweet one. Alex and I had a 'working' date at Starbucks tonight (as in working on school stuff together without kids...we've started calling any outing without kids a 'date'), and came home to this sweet sight on the sofa...

Geneva fast asleep on her NaiNai's lap! We are so blessed to have Alex's parents living so close to us...a luxury we are thankful for each and every day this year!
