Wendy had her first ballet class last Saturday. We found a little ballet class at a local music school near our home recently. Wendy is on the younger end of the girls in the ballet class, and by far the smallest, but it is a good class for her. She LOVED dressing up and being in the class. Although having mirrors on three sides of the room was a bit too tempting for her...she had to be reminded a few times to pay attention to the teacher, not her own reflection in the mirror!
During their first class they did a lot of work on positions (mainly first position and a few other things) and stretching. At the end of the class, though, they did a little butterfly dance which was adorable and Wendy's favorite part!
