This week Alex has been at a conference in the US...Boston to be exact. SO, today is day 8 of Daddy being gone. Tomorrow he returns and we can't wait! Wendy Jane is a girl of many questions, and the one that she has asked about a million times this week is "Where's Daddy?" Now when she asks, she actually already knows...she just asks to make conversation. So we've been keeping busy with Alex gone and I have a few photos of the girls playing around...
Going for a walk (collecting "treasures") in our neighborhood on the only day so far this fall that has been cool enough to wear coats! I love matching my girls! Thanks to their Mimi my girls have lots of matching clothes!! The girls like it too...for now...
The girls like to watch their videos sitting like this on the sofa. Usually they have about half a dozen dolls and stuffed animals watching with them.
Since Alex has been gone we've done a lot more visiting with friends! We have such great friends and colleagues here in Shanghai. These boys are a little older than our girls but are super sweet and love playing together! Vera, who usually only sits for about 10 seconds at a time, sat on Hudson's lap for nearly 15 minutes!
