Move over Nastia...here comes Wendy on the floor

So, what little girl out there hasn't been inspired by the gymnastics competition this Olympics? Our little girls certainly have been. Vera can't quite get a forward roll yet, but she does lay on the floor on her back, stick her legs up in the air and kind of roll around. She also likes to try to jump and put her hands in the air like she has stuck a landing. Wendy likes to do floor routines. After Vera went to bed we let Wendy stay up to watch the women's individual uneven bar competition. It inspired about 20 minutes of living room floor routines. Here is a little video of our gymnast...she added some 'artistic elements' in it this time too.

I don't know how the sound will turn out, but if you can hear it clearly, her first few comments made us realize that she thinks that 'forward roll' has something to do with 'four'. I love how kids get crazy when it is past bedtime! Crazy and cute!
