December 26th there was an earthquake somewhere in the Pacific between mainland China and Taiwan. Unfortunately there are some large fiberoptic cables that connect the internet here to the internet with the rest of the world that were severely damaged. So for a while we were unable to connect with any international website (including our email). Even now we connect at a speed about 10 times slower than old dial-up. The tenative date for having those cables repaired is January 15th.
All that to say, sorry for not posting any Christmas photos on here!
Here is Wendy Jane learning how to frost her first Christmas cookies. Fun, fun. Just like her Mommy she prefers the frosting to the actual cookie. A couple of cookies fell victim to her before I realized she was licking them and putting them back on the plate...
